Throughout the year, Open Doors hosts or participates in special events that share our story and help raise funds to support the work we do every day.

Join us on April 23, 2026, at The Loading Dock in Stamford for an unforgettable evening celebrating hope, compassion, and community.

The Open Doors Gala is more than a celebration — it is a critical fundraiser that helps sustain our programs throughout the year. Support from this event allows Open Doors to:

  • Prevent homelessness through our Economic Opportunity Hub

  • Stock our community pantry and provide hot meals to neighbors in need

  • Offer clothing and essentials through our Community Closet

  • Create pathways forward through our shelter and housing programs

  • Empower children and families with supportive services and enrichment opportunities
