Norwalk Homelessness Is Rising — and Federal Cuts Could Make It Worse

A new Nancy on Norwalk report examines homelessness in Norwalk, CT, and the federal funding cuts that could undo recent progress. Open Doors, Norwalk's primary homeless shelter and outreach provider, housed 81 people last fiscal year and is on track to house 100 by the end of June, with our street outreach team reaching 49 people in the past 11 months.
